Ocean Tide is a treat to knit - it’s just engaging enough to keep you interested while you knit, but potato chippy enough to be able to still socialize, watch TV, or take along on a road trip. The final result is perfect for a spring night around a campfire or an evening stroll along the ocean.

Ocean Tide is a top-down triangular-shaped shawl that features a lace motif center spine. While this shawl was worked with a sport weight yarn, with the pattern repeats it’s effortless to work up in any yarn weight to any size you desire, allowing for a fully versatile that will enable you to create a shawl unique to you!

Worked flat, Ocean Tide contains written directions and charts. A handy-dandy progress tracker is included to help you with your row and stitch counts.

This shawl pattern shines well with solid, semi-solid, or lightly variegated/speckled yarns. Picking an appropriate yarn for this project will ensure you don’t lose the fun motif that runs down the spine of your shawl.

GAUGE
16 stitches by 24 rows in stockinette = 4” / 10 cm, after blocking. While gauge is not important, as the fit is not crucial, changes in gauge will result in size differences and the yardage required to complete the project.
