Ocean Wave Lace Collar

A buttoned, Victorian-style collar neck warmer knit in the popular vintage Ocean Wave lace stitch with crocheted button loop edging. The lace pattern is given in an easy to follow chart as well as in words, and uses short rows to produce the collar’s fitted circular shape.

Materials needed:
1 ball (50g) fingering weight yarn (collar in pictures was knit with Knit Picks Palette wool)
1 pair straight knitting needles size 4
1 crochet hook size 3
5 shank buttons 3/8”
Tapestry needle for weaving ends

Gauge: 6 stitches x 8 rows = 1” in stockinette stitch.

Finished measurements: 7” wide x custom length.
