This wonderful and comfortable over-sized pullover is lovely in a solid or a painted yarn. The undulating large lace pattern gives it a texture and interest that is relaxing to wear and to knit. The finished measurements go up to 54 inches 135 cm and selvage stitches can be added to increase the ease if desired. The neck is over-sized and the back is longer than the front . There is a deep slit on the sides to allow for drape.
Any worsted weight is great, but this pullover was designed especially for cotton blends as cotton has a tendency to “grow” over time and that’s even better in an over-sized sweater. Blocking is a must so the pattern shows up and the fabric is evened out. It also can be reigned in inside the dryer on a hot setting! MAGIC!
