Working in the back loop only, gives the fabric beautiful texture of ridges. The subtle chevron stitch used in this shawl creates a delicate, lacey, and elegant finish. This also provides the shawl with a stunning scalloped edge. The added pockets are done using HDC BLO with an envelope style flap, finished off with a tassel. The sizing on this shawl can be modified by adding/decreasing rows and stitches. Any #4 worsted weight yarn, will work for this pattern.
