The ocean has always been a place of calm and rejuvenation for me. The waves coming to meet the shoreline and receding back into the depths of the ocean in rhythmic patterns is a sound I never tire of hearing. There’s just something so magical about it! This shawl is a homage to my happy place. Made of luxuriously soft and lightweight baby alpaca yarn, (Covet, by Knit One Crochet Too), Ocean Whisper is the perfect triangle shawl to wrap around your shoulders as you enjoy the beauty of a stroll on the beach.

Materials Needed
Size 6 (4mm) 60”/150 cm circular knitting needles
Sport weight yarn:
328 yards of color A
164 yards of color B
328 yards of color C
164 yards of color D

Sample was knit with Covet yarn by Knit One Crochet Too in the following colors:
2 skeins of Mink
1 skein of Pearl
2 skeins of Serpentine
1 skein of Silver

Finished dimensions:
80” (203 cm) wingspan; 35.5” (90 cm) center depth

This pattern features standard knitting terms and extensive pattern notes. It is intended for those familiar with the basics of knitting and thus, not meant to be a tutorial.
