5 Pages PDF CROCHET for the OCEANA ESPANDRILLES.

This pattern is written in standard American terms and includes photos of the process.

Skill level: INTERMEDIATE
You should know the basic stiches: chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, join.

MATERIALS
• 100 g of yarn (depends of the sole size, this is for a #4 MEX size) ej.

I used: “Elena” 100% Mercerized Cotton by Máster Knit 50g /1.75 oz

• Crochet Hook 3mm/ D/ 3
• Piece of elastic band for the instep, approx.. 2-3mm wide, needle
and sewing yarn.
• Sole for knitting, I used a synthetic sole with leather body I bought
with a local producer, there´s a lot of options about this in your
favorite´s yarn store. Be sure the sole is not too soft, because this is
an exterior shoe.
• Stitch’s markers.
GAUGE
The gauge depends of the size of the sole and the espace between
perforations, so there´s not such a specific instructions for gauge and
number of stitches during the work, it’s easy because we already had
the right size from the sole.
STITCHES AND ABBREVIATIONS
• st/sts – stitch/stitches
• ch – chain
• sc – single crochet
• ss – slip stitch
• dec- decrease
PATTERN NOTES
• The sole part is written in rounds and the rest of the pattern (tongue
and heel) are written in rows. At the end of each round join the round
with ss.
• Please read the instructions carefully!
• How to read a pattern: If the number is written before the stitch 3
hdc work 3 hdc into the same stitch. If the number is written after the
stitch hdc 3, work hdc into next 3 stitches.
• Use a stitch marker to mark your first stitch of the row/round.
