Octavia the Owl
This listing is for my little amigurumi owl Octavia. It’s a fun crochet project for improving beginners as well as seasoned crocheters!
She lives in the enchanted forest and likes doing the usual owl stuff, like catching mice, hooting, blending into trees, and sleeping through the day.
Sometimes she joins her friend Meja the healer on her early morning walks before heading to bed in her favorite tree.
I’m sure she will make a fun little addition to your Amigurumi collection.
The pattern has detailed step-by-step instructions that are accompanied with high quality photos of the process.
It includes photo tutorials on how to make a magic ring, invisible decreases in single crochet, and invisible finishes.
The owl is crocheted from head to tail. The face and wings are sewn on with a few stitches. The yellow circles and the bill are embroidered.
The feet are bent with craft wire. This works best with small pliers, eg for jewelry making. Alternatively you could use pipe cleaner for them.
This listing also includes an add-on pattern on how to crochet Sage the snowy owl (the white owl in the first picture), in case you’d like to crochet Octavia an Arctic friend.
