Octavia is dressed for adventure and is ready to take on the world! And the little octopus is her best friend and is ready to accompany her on all her adventures! What kind of trouble will they get in together?!

Your purchase includes instructions on how to make Octavia and her little octopus friend as well as his hat.

Materials
• Worsted Weight Yarn
• Two 18mm metal 4-hole buttons
• Two 6mm black buttons
• Black Embroidery Floss
• Invisible Thread
• Medium Brown Crochet Cotton (or string) - a small bit to use for shoelaces
• Embellishments: A variety of metal buttons, gears, keys, chains, etc. as desired
• ¼” Wooden dowel, plus a tool to cut it (I use pruning shears) - or other method to reinforce neck such as wire

Size - Gauge is not important to this pattern. The size of your finished product will vary depending on the size of the yarn and hook you use. Made with the materials listed, the doll measures 8” (not including the goggles) and the octopus is about 3 1/2” (not including the hat).

Pattern Notes - The pattern is written for advanced beginner crocheters and beyond (mainly because of the type of terminology used). The advanced beginner is familiar with making amigurumi and understands basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc. If you are not familiar with all the terms used in this pattern, there are a multitude of tutorials on You Tube that can help. Also feel free to contact me with any questions. I’ll be glad to help in any way I can.
