Octocoaster
Need a really quick gift? Octagon shaped coasters!
The center shape is knit back and forth first in garter stitch with simple increases and decreases.. Then applied i-cord is worked around the edge. Great scrap busters!
These are so quick to make you can knit them as gifts for everyone on your list and still have time to knit a set for yourself!
Finished Size: About 4.5” (11.5cm) across. Fits most mugs.
Yarn: Worsted, heavy worsted or aran, 30yds/28m total. Center and i-cord take approximately equal amounts. This is a great scrap buster.
