Octonauts-Inspired Otter
Purchase this amigurumi pattern to create a nautical otter friend!
Join this nautical otter, inspired by an animated children’s television show, in his adventures on board an orange submersible. Learn about sea creatures together! In the show, the otter named Shellington is a research scientist who uses a book carried inside his bag to identify creatures that the crew encounters.
Approximately 14” finished length.
The otter’s bag can be removed completely from body and can hold small items like shells, buttons, coins, etc.
When you purchase this pattern, you receive complete instructions via instant download for making the otter amigurumi shown.
Pattern uses worsted weight yarn in three colors, G-6 (4.25mm) crochet hook, tapestry needle, two 12-15mm safety eyes, fiberfill stuffing and (optional) stitch markers.
Pattern requires mainly basic stitches (sc, hdc, dc, ch, sc2tog, inc) and BPsc. Mainly crocheted in the round with a few elements in turning-row style crochet.
The PDF contains 23 quality photos to help you understand the construction and finished product. Photos illustrate techniques and construction details, plus includes three pages of large reference photos at the end of the document.
