Octopus
This squishy octopus is a neat pattern that does not require any sewing, at all! As with most amigurumi projects, this softie is constructed using continuous rounds, with pieces that are ‘attached as you go’, and leaves only one end to be woven in. You will have so much fun making these cute guys that you won’t stop at just one!!
Using the suggested yarn and hook, your octopus will have a head/body about 5 inches tall. There are two tentacle types for you to chose from; short & kinky (~7” long) and long & curly (~12” long).
By choosing other weights of yarn, a different sized octopus can be achieved. And don’t forget, you can try a variety of yarns or even double-strand your yarn to create your own unique creature.
Materials needed:
• ~ 90 yards of any Worsted weight yarn of your choice.
• G Hook
• 2 – 18mm Plastic eyes (green cat eyes look cool!)
• A handful of polyfill stuffing
• Stitch markers (optional)
You may sell the finished products made from this pattern, as long as you give me or LeLe Fox credit. Please do not sell, copy or distribute this pattern in any way, without permission.
