Items:
Color 1: Lion Brand Summer Nights - Passion Fruit (1 - Super Fine)
Color 2: Lion Brand Summer Nights - Ocean Cove (1 - Super Fine)
(Optional) Color 3: Another color for the suction cups instead of using Color 1 again.
Color 4: any regular Black that’s (4 - Worsted)

Heavier weight yarn works well, too. I’ve seen up to medium/worsted.

Hook: 3mm

Recommended: Stitch Markers

Optional: Safety Eyes work great with this pattern. Follow the pattern to make the crocheted eyes with the Magic Circles, and make sure the centers are loose enough for the posts of the Safety Eyes.

Definitions:
c1 = color 1 = Main Color
c2 = color 2 = Belly Color
c3 = color 3 = Optional extra color for Bubbles/Suction Cups
bubble = dc5tog, and then sl st in same stitch
dc5tog = 5 partial DCs (6 loops on hook at 5th dc), finish the last dc fully and go through all of the loops
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet

These also apply for any other type of stitch (hdc, dc, etc) and quantity (4, 5, etc):
sc2 = a sc in the next 2 stitches
2sc = INC = Increasing Stitch; 2 sc in the same stitch
3sc = 3 sc in the same stitch
2sc(3) = 2sc in each of the next 3 stitches
sc2tog = DEC = Decreasing stitch; 1 sc in 2 stitches

Pattern Rules:
All completed rows are finished with a “sl st to start of row, ch1” unless otherwise noted

This guide uses a straight seam instead of a diagonal seam. It is only important in this pattern for the 3 eye rows, so you can adjust it easily.
