• • Toy size: 13-15 cm = 5- 5.9 inch (from Yarn weight/yardage: 1.8 oz (50 g) = approx 175 yds (160 m))

• Materials needed for crochet toys *

• Yarn: any yarn you like! Looks nice octopus, crocheted from melange yarn, fine velour yarn, cotton, mix-cotton yarn. (If it is a toy for baby, use cotton yarn or cotton mix)

For example, DROPS Safran Weight/yardage: 1.8 oz (50 g) = approx 175 yds (160 m)

Drops Nord Weight/yardage: 1.8 oz (50 g) = approx 186 yds (170 m)

Alize - Cotton gold Weight/length: 100g = approx 330m (3.53 Oz/361 Yrds)

For the specified yarn thickness I used a 1.5 mm hook (or 1.75 mm)

• crochet hook suitable for the yarn

• sewing pins (to help when assembling)

• needle for sewing (and for creating flounces)
