The Ocotpus family is quick crochet project and quite good for stashbusting projects. The idea came from old drawnings and stories I and my siblings used to tell each other when we were kids. I kinda took those drawings as an inspiration for this pattern.

You’ll need bright colored yarn and a hook to match it. I think I used DK yarn with 3mm hook. But you can choose a lighter yarn with a smaller hook or bulkier yarn with a bigger hook.

The pattern is quite quickly written down and it isn’t tested, so please tell me if you find any errors or ask if somewhere the pattern is written unclearly.
