Pattern is written in English, and in US terminology

This pattern uses the filet crochet technique, which is the technique of using blocks to create an image inside your work

Using WW (4) yarn, and a 4mm hook, this creates a lovely oversized piece, measuring roughly 80” across 40” from tip to top

With this listing you will receive:

Written instructions on how to filet crochet, with chart diagrams embedded in the file
A separate file with a larger chart that prints out vertically on two different pieces of paper so you can tape together and work from a hard copy
A separate file with a smaller horizontal version that you can have up on your screen to work from (This does make it much smaller, so zoom will be your friend!!) -- remember, this pattern is worked from the top down!

This pattern does NOT have written instructions on the pattern itself, it comes with instructions on HOW to filet crochet, but it does not contain line by line written instructions, this is a GRAPH pattern, you follow the graph to create the item - the graph is designed to be printed out, it is not designed to be followed on a computer screen as it is very small, and in two pieces, it is designed to be printed out, then taped together and followed there. I find it easiest to take pen or pencil to it and cross off the blocks as I go so I don’t lose track of where I am on the pattern.
