Odds and Ends Shawl
I just cleaned out my yarn room, and when I was done, I had an entire crate full of partial skeins of yarn wound into balls. No labels, no memory of where most of them came from…it was a crate of yarn shame! Not wanting to throw them away, I came up with a fun, easy way to use my yarn scraps to make something beautiful!
The Odds and Ends shawl uses dc and ch spaces to make an easy-to-create pattern. It’s worked from the top down in rows, so even a BEGINNER can work this pattern and end up with a beautiful shawl to enjoy or donate. I made my first one 30” x 60”, but you can work until you’re satisfied…or until you use up all of your yarn scraps!
Now, go find all of your partial skeins in a similar weight, organize them by color, and start crocheting your Odds and Ends Shawl! Every shawl will have its own unique striping pattern, and it’s so fun to watch your project form!
