I created this pattern so that I could wear a handknit piece that looked store bought and was “serious” enough for my day job. If you are like me and lead a double life (serious lawyer by day; gleeful knitter at all other times), then I recommend you choose a beautiful tonal yarn. If you are one of the lucky ones, choose a wild speckle and proudly wear with jeans and sneakers. This is meant to be a quick knit and the pattern is easy to memorize.

The final product measures 32 (34) 36 (38) 40 (44) 49 inches / 80 (85) 90 (95) 100 (110) 122 cm at the widest part of the bust. Choose a size that is at least 2 – 4 inches (5 – 10 cm) larger than your widest measurement. I prefer boxier shapes, so I tend to prefer more ease. In the picture I am wearing a size L with 5 inches / 12.5 cm of positive ease.
