Odin's Creatures
This is a pullover for men or women in sizes from 40-53” (this includes ease) with a Henley neck. It is worked in the round with steeks. It is a very thorough pattern. See my blog: http://norskneedlework.blogspot.com for more pictures and finishing help It has charts and written instruction
It tells the story of the Norse god Odin and his animals. Two wolves (Geri and Freki), an 8 legged horse (Sleipnir, and yes he has 8 legs) and 2 ravens (Huginn and Muninn). I made a whole page on facts of Norse Mythology and books I used for info. I used a new green heather from Rauma for the background and really, really love it!
Instructions are for 30 sts/ 4” but with a 3.25 needle 28sts/4” any size will be about 3” wider. It also has a good amount of Estonian Kihnu Vits braid and I give complete instructions with how to untwist. In the pattern are quite a lot of “good” bindrunes. Meanings are on charts.
This yarn is not really a sport yarn, more a heavy fingering and knits to different gauges wonderfully
