Odin's leaf
“All the art of living lies in a fine mingling of letting go and holding on”.
/Havelock Ellis/
It’s hard to let go of a friend, but sometimes we have no other choice but to let them go.. but by holding on to the memories I’ve been left with, it still feels like he would have been here..
For Odin.
ODIN’s LEAF is a rectangular shawl worked in few variations of twisted rib pattern. Shawl is worked in 2 separate pieces, starting from the bottom towards the center. Once both pieces are done, they’re joined in the center of the shawl using kitchener stitch. Details, like bobbles edge and leaf pattern transformed into twisted rib assure the enjoyable knitting time and unique finished object with a feminine character.
