The motifs in Odysseus Pullover may have been inspired by the adventurer featured in the Illiad, but this sweater was designed to be a timeless piece in any man’s wardrobe.

Wide saddles create a strong shoulder, and the adventurous cables (which use two cable needles!) echo a rocky sea and the ropes used aboard a seafaring vessel.

Construction Notes: This sweater is knit from the top down, starting with saddles that will form the shoulder. From there, the knitting works flat down the back and front separately. At the underarm, the front & back are joined and worked in the round to the bottom.

The sleeves are picked-up in the round, with a short row cap to ensure a clean fit.
Finally, a ribbed folded hem around the neckline lends a classic style.
