A Finely the Knitting Corner favorite, “Off to the Market Bag” is the essential market bag for your everyday use. This easy pattern incorporates magic loop & a simple, yet beautiful slip-stitch pattern to make a wonderfully crafted market bag.

This pattern is one-size, however the body could be lengthened for a deeper bag. We wrote the bag for one color, however, this could easily be striped to add some variety & additional color!

Finished measurements:

• 13” wide at base of bag
• 10” deep
• 10” handle openings

Materials needed:

• 550-600 yds. of worsted weight cotton (we used Berrocco Weekend & also recommend Plymouth Fantasy Naturale).

• Size US 5, 40” knitting needles for magic loop.
