Offset Diamonds
Knitted in a simple garter stitch background with alternating complementary colors, stitches are slipped and cabled up the rows to form intersecting diagonals.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION: The stitches which are used to form the diagonals are slipped up two rows. You will need to be comfortable with either knitting these stitches loosely, or being able to go back and “borrow” slack from neighboring stitches to help your piece stay flat.
This is a fairly quick knit and makes a very soft, squishy scarf.
