Oh, Boy! knitted baby blanket pattern is a very easy project that can be completed by any beginner knitter. It’s composed out of knits and purls, so it shouldn’t cause any difficulty. It’s simple, yet catches the eye. I think simple patterns give great effects. This pattern is a variation on the blanket Hearts and Diamonds, but this time it’s hearts and boats, so a maritime theme.

The PDF pattern includes written instructions as well as a graphic chart with place to mark your progress row by row, which comes in handy when repeating the sections.

This pattern is designed specifically for DROPS Baby Merino yarn and is written for 1 size only: 107 x 74 cm. To complete the pattern you will need 7 skeins of the chosen yarn colour and 3,0mm circular needles with 80cm cable.
