This is a pattern only (not a finished product) to create a hat of an alien similar to Oh from the movie Home. This pattern is for a child size hat approx 18” - 20” head circumference.

Materials:
• Yarn: Light purple (one skein), white, black, green, dark purple (small amounts).
• Size US H/5.00 mm crochet hook
• Yarn needle for attaching pieces
• Stitch marker.
• Fiberfill

Crochet stitches used:
• MR – magic ring
• Sc – single crochet
• Hdc – half double crochet
• Sl st – slip stitch
• Sctog – sc decrease

Embroidery stitches used:
• Whip stitch to attach pieces together
• Straight stitch for eyebrows and mouth

Skill level: Intermediate.
