The Oh My Gourd Cowl is a stranded colourwork moebius cowl that is knit in the round to create a long tube. After blocking, both ends are seamed together, resulting in a double-sided infinity cowl.

Inspired by everything Fall and pumpkin spice! The Oh My Gourd Cowl features gourds of all kinds including pumpkins, butternut squash and other decorative varieties. This design also includes sections of Buffalo Plaid that can be customized to include as many colours as you like, even in a gradient!

This cowl is designed to be thick and cozy with two layers to keep you warm during the colder months and can be knit in either DK or Worsted weight yarn. Dimensions of this pattern are easily customized depending on the knitter’s preference. Chart repeats can be added or removed to modify both the height and length of the finished piece.

The pattern is flexible with the amount of colours you can use. You can use as few as 1 MC and 1 CC, or as many as 6+ CC. This is a great opportunity for a scrappy project!
