I love finding the beauty in simplicity, especially when I crochet with variegated yarn! The colors of the yarn just unravel so beautifully, and they give their own, unique design to each project!
I like challenging patterns, where you have to count, create designs and shapes, but I always want a simple project on the side, where I can just pick it up, and not have to worry of counting or trying to figure out where I left off, just to get my mind off things.
If you’re looking for such a pattern, the Oh So Izzie Crochet Shawl, is the one you’re looking for!
This beautiful shawl is named after a good friend of mine, who asked for a warm shawl in different shades of grey. I bought the yarn in the colors she loved, and started crocheting and ripping the project as the yarn wasn’t showing off the stitches correctly, so I decided to go with something simple and easy!
Shawls, are such a great accessory because they can be worn in so many different ways, a few of them are shown in the photos! If you decide to crochet this one, I’d love to see pictures, as well as if you come up with different ways to wear the shawl!
The pattern is worked with variegated yarn, but a solid color would look great, or it can even be worked in stripes! It’s written out thoroughly, with photos to help understand the steps being worked. It’s very easy and can definitely be worked even by beginners.
