Wie sieht er aus, Euer Weihnachtsbaum?
Rustikal, mit Strohsternen, modern und puristisch, mit echten Kerzen oder elektrischen Lichtergirlanden? Lametta oder lieber nicht?
Alles ist erlaubt und alles ist schön, aber…
Der Weihnachtsbaum meiner Kindheit war BUNT! Viele Kugeln in allen Farben, Sterne und bunte Glitzer-Vögel aus Uromas Erbe.
Vielleicht war das kitschig, aber in jedem Fall war es ein fröhlicher Baum – ist Weihnachten nicht schließlich auch ein fröhliches Fest, ein Geburtstagsfest?
In vielen Ländern auf der Welt wird es mit Parties und Feuerwerk, Umzügen und Tänzen gefeiert!
Deshalb wird auch unser diesjähriges KAL-Tuch fröhlich und bunt!
Wir stricken wie immer in vier Teilen, die jeweils am Freitag vor den Adventssonntagen zum download bereit stehen werden, also am:
29.11., 6.12., 13.12. und am 20.12.
Das Tuch wird irgendwie so etwas wie ein langes Dreieck, mit Anklängen an einen Tannenbaum… im Stil angelehnt an farbenfrohe Popkultur.
Selbstverständlich kann man es auch einfarbig, zweifarbig, dreifarbig oder vierfarbig stricken, wir aber schlagen sechs Farben vor.
Der Garnverbrauch insgesamt liegt bei ca. 280g , bei einer LL von 365m/100g.
Das Tuch mißt an der breitesten Stelle ca. 70cm und ist 2,10m lang.
Bei www.dibadu.de wird es rechtzeitig Sets aus Twisted Fifties dazu geben, liebevoll farblich zusammengestellt.
Wer mag, kann natürlich auch Kugeln an den Baum hängen, dafür wären „Pom-pom Maker“ (3,5cm bis 4,5cm) hilfreich.

How does it look, your Christmas tree?
Is it decorated with stars made of straw or modern and stylish? Has it candles or electric-powered light-chains? Do you love tinsel or better not?
Everything is allowed and everything is beautiful, but…
In my childhood the Christmas tree was very colourful – with loads of balls in all rainbow colors, sparkling stars and great-granny’s glitter-colored birds.
Maybe that had been a bit kitschy, but it made everybody cheerful – and isn’t Christmas a cheerful occasion? A birthday party?
Around the world it is often celebrated with parties and fireworks, with processions and dancing.
Therefore our this year’s shawl is also cheer- and colorful!
As always there will be four parts ready for download on every Friday before the Sundays in Advent:
29.11., 6.12., 13.12. and 20.12.
The shawl is something like a triangle with elements of a Christmas tree … The style is inspired by colorful pop art.
Of course it can also be made in one, two, three or four colors – we, however, suggest six!

The total yarn amount is about 280g, with a fingering weight yarn (400 yds/100g).
The shawl’s measures approximately 28” at the widest point and 84” long.

Do you like Christmas tree balls? Of course you can add some to your tree – a pom-pom maker (3,5cm to 4,5cm) would be helpful!
