Ohely is the old name in Savoyard dialect of a small traditional Alpine village where I used to go skiing when I was a child.

Perfect for any winter outing - walk, shopping, stay at a ski resort- Ohely is a warm and cozy hat featuring a pattern similar to slaloms. Worked in the round from bottom up in a cross stitch pattern, this hat can be knit with or without a folded brim.

• 3 sizes: S, M and L (teen, adult)
• Fits 19 to 24.5 inches head circumferences.
• Gauge (4.0 mm needles): 21 sts x 32 rows in st st (flat knitting) and 23 sts x 34 rnds in st pattern (in the round).
• Yarn requirements/hat with folded brim (undyed sample): 1 (1, 1) skein or 220 (240, 273) yds of Cantharide #Tout nu; I recommend 2 skeins for size L.
• Yarn requirements/hat without brim (purple sample): 1 (1, 1) skein or 155 (175, 210) yds of Noix DK #Le goût des violettes/gradient.
• Notions: 4.0 mm circular needles + dpns, 1 st marker.
• Techniques: alternating cable CO, ribbing, cross sts, decreases.
• Fully written pattern including links for special techniques and charts.

Ohely est l’ancien nom savoyard d’un petit village traditionnel montagnard où j’allais régulièrement skier lorsque j’étais petite.

Parfait pour toutes les sorties en hiver, promenades, shopping ou séjour en station de ski, Ohely est un bonnet chaud et douillet avec un motif inspiré des slaloms. Tricoté en rond, de bas en haut, avec un point de mailles croisées, ce bonnet peut être avec ou sans revers.

• 3 sizes : S, M et L (ado, adulte)

• Convient à des tours de tête de 49 à 62 cm.

• Echantillon (aig. 4 mm) : 21 m. x 32 rgs en jersey en aller-retour et 23 m. x 34 rgs en point texturé (en rond).

• Quantités/bonnet avec revers (modèle écru) : 1 (1, 1) écheveau ou 200 (220, 250) m de Cantharide coloris Tout nu (non teint); je recommande 2 écheveaux pour la taille L.

• Quantités/bonnet sans revers (modèle mauve) : 1 (1, 1) écheveau ou 140 (160, 190) m de Noix DK coloris Le goût des violettes/gradient.

• Petit matériel : aig. circ. et aig. double-pointe no 4, 1 marqueur
