OHH THOSE POPS OF PINK
The inspiration for this design is my glamorous niece (who is a movie and documentary maker), who wanted a warm elegant sweater with geometric shapes and pops of color. So that’s what this design became.
The sweater is started at the yoke, and has a little lift a the back neckband. The same bit of extra length is created at the back bottom ribbing.
The yarn I used is a nice blend of 65% wool and 35% alpaca (non superwash) DROPS Nepal. It is a very affordable yarn. You could substitute the yarn with Osprey by Quince&Co, or for a lightweight version you could use Létt Lopi. That yarn was used by some of the test knitters.
