This is a top-down v-neck circular yoke sweater constructed using short rows until reaching the V, then worked seamlessly in the round.

Color Loops (vertical strands of intarsia knitting) decorate the neck with radial spokes and also serve as a guide for the increases so there is no counting involved, simplifying what would otherwise be a complicated section of knitting.

An alternate round neck version is included at the end of the pattern.

The rest of the sweater is easily modified to your taste in shaping, length, and drape.

Although this pattern calls for worsted weight yarn, a heavy DK would also work. The contrast color used for the Color Loops is a fingering weight yarn of about 27-46 yards.

For help with Color Loops, please see my YouTube Channel: Color Loops Knitting. Episodes 5-8 chronicle the Ohlone Sweater among other things. There are also demo videos on the channel to help with set-up, short rows, and a semi-stretchy bind off.
