Do you want to build a snowman? Come on let’s go crochet! Olaf is everyone’s favorite summer-loving snowman. Inspired by Disney’s animated film, Frozen, with this pattern you can crochet your own snowman and give him nice, warm hugs without getting frostbite!
To make this pattern, you will need:
• Worsted-weight yarn in white, black, and orange. (any brand)
• Size G crochet hook (4 mm)
• Fiberfill or stuffing
• Needle with a large eye
• 15 mm plastic safety eye
Other materials:
• Black embroidery thread
• Black thread and a sewing needle
• 16 gauge aluminum jewelry wire
• Small amount of white felt
• Hot glue gun
• Clear-drying tacky glue
This pattern is at an intermediate level. Previous amigurumi experience is highly recommended. You need to know how to single crochet in the round, increase, decrease, slip stitch, and crochet in the front loop only. This pattern calls for the use of wire for the arms and hair.
Pattern includes 7 pages of detailed instruction in English and color photos of the work-in-progress and finished product to help guide you along. Finished product measures about 11” tall.
