Olaf Hat
Although Olaf is a Disney creation…which I take no credit for…..the drawing is mine, (albeit from an image) which I did on graph paper.
You may use ANY medium weight yarn. The chart is self explanatory….the background, inside of mouth n eyes are black, nose is orange. No need for color chart.
You will need a darning needle and a few additional yards of brown yarn (for the arms) and bright orange yarn (for the carrot nose). The arms, top of the button, eyebrows, hair/sticks on top of head should be ignored while charting and added afterwards with a darning needle and appropriate color. (I have outlined in red, on second chart, as a guide, but feel free to add the “characterization” as you see fit.)
Although I’ve made EVERY EFFORT to make the chart concise..please exercise poetic license with his characterization. Bear in mind, please, I have DRAWN him on graph paper and you may have to use your discretion with what may appear as “half stitches” etc….(remember, you are going to outline his face!)
He may look a little wonky to you, at first, but, you will be pleasantly surprised as his impish face suddenly jumps out at you.
This is one of my favorites….I hope you enjoy it as much as I have:)
