This hat was inspired by the love my great niece, Miss E, has for Frozen.

I haven’t seen the movie, but I have seen photos.

Olaf is a hard character to catch in yarn … he s so animated that making a stagnant face made t hard to catch his goofy-ness.

That said, whenever see this hat, it makes me grin from ear-to-ear, so I guess didn’t do such a bad job after all.

I have suggested worsted weight yarn but the pattern can be made with DK yarn or a mixture of Bulky (for the hat) and worsted weight, or DK, for everything else. Just use a hook that compliments the yarn you use.

The pattern is based on the measurements of the head that will wear the hat. If you are not able to obtain these measurements, there s a measurement chart at the end of the pattern that will be of assistance.
