This little owl applique is the perfect finishing touch to a blanket or bag. You could make lots of him, and string them together to make a garland or banner.

Finished size is 6 inches tall by 5 inches wide, but you can easily make him larger or smaller by going up or down a hook size or by using a heavier or lighter weight yarn.

This pattern is suitable for beginners. You will need to already know how to do the following crochet stitches:
slip stitch
chain
single crochet
half double crochet
double crochet

You will also need to know how to single crochet and half double crochet 2 stitches together.
