Suggested Needles:

Materials: fingering weight yarn, knitting needles, stitch markers (24), scrap/waste yarn, darning needle

Skills: knit, purl, yo, pass slipped stitch over, knitting through back loop, increase (m1L, m1R), decrease (ssk, k2tog, p2tog), back loop cast on, german twist cast on, japanese short rows, magic loop if working sleeves with long circular needles, reading lace charts, i-cord bind off, wet blocking.

Construction: Olas Pullover is based on a top down raglan construction. The sleeve width remains constant for the first part of the pattern then increases are added to give the extra stitches needed to accommodate the arm hole as well as the body. Sleeves are a kimono/bell inspired design, made in full lace and finished in a two stitch icord bind off. The lace of the sleeves are very malleable and need to be wet blocked into the final triangular shape. This pattern offers 3 different body styles: cropped, cropped with waist shaping, standard long & long with waist shaping; as well as a brief explanation on how to give you the final desired length of your choice.
