This blanket is inspired by the faded but beautiful quilts of Gee’s Bend, Alabama. It’s mismatched stripes are worked up in a soothing gradient of indigo hues.

It is knit in two separately striped strips. When completed, one strip is rotated to 180 degrees of the other and seamed together to achieve the beautiful quilt pattern.
