Old Fashion Cardigan is a collection of all classic Aran motifs with a modern boxy fit.
It is worked with a top-down construction, starting from the collar and knitting button and buttonhole bands while you are knitting the body of the cardigan at the same time.
The neckline is worked by using a short row to create a comfortable curve. Pockets are finished by sewing from the inside to leave a clean silhouette. The pattern consists of written instructions and knitting charts.

Yarn
worsted weight 560g / 1064m.
The sample used, Soft Donegal by Studio Donegal 6 skeins 100g/190m

Gauge
cable pattern 19 st x 26 rows, after blocking

Size
One size, an oversized cardigan with a slightly cropped length.
If you would like to adjust the length of the sweater, you must plan for the extra yarn requirement.

Needle
4 & 5mm circular needles of various lengths 4mm double-pointed needles

Notions & Tools
5 buttons, cable needle, tapestry needle, scrap yarns, assorted stitch markers, and measuring tape.
