Old Shale lunch napkin
by Diana Boskma
This pattern is in the Old Shale stitch, which is fairly easy to knit.
The gauge isn’t very important as it is just a napkin. So just knit your normal way.
If you want you can adjust the pattern to fit your own yarn when you have a different type of yarn.
I used a cotton sport yarn with needle 4mm.
I only used 25 grams, so half a skein for 1 napkin.
The size for me turned out to be 28 cm long and 12,5 cm wide.
I made this pattern as I wanted something pretty on my table. The simple paper napkins just didn’t do it anymore for me.
As it turned out really nice and a friend asked whether there was a pattern for it I figured I should just write it out as it isn’t that difficult.
Enjoy!
