Old World Tablecloth
Old World Tablecloth combines the everyday modern looking half double crochet stitch with a vintage lace texture. It’s a perfect project to pass your time because it builds up easily and quickly! There are just a few ends to weave in when you’re done and there is zero seaming!
The pattern is written for a color-blocking technique, but you can easily opt to make yours in a single solid color: just don’t switch colors where indicated and you’re set! On the other hand, you can easily introduce more than three colors to your tablecloth as well, and play as much as you wish.
Finished tablecloth done with a 4.5 mm crochet hook and using Paintbox Cotton DK measures up to 15 inches in width and 38 inches in length (pre-blocking measurements). In case you wish to make your tablecloth wider, make sure your foundation chain is a multiple of 10 + 4. Also, in case you wish to make it longer, just do more rounds of either HDC or lace pattern and you’re good to go! :)
Old World Tablecloth is a perfect decoration for any home, especially if you’re into boho styled décor like me.
