Oldemors Cozy designed with my mother in mind. A special request for a light, yet warm wrap with pockets to keep cozy during chilly spells. Dusty Rose, her favourite colour, with darker lined, pockets. Just as pretty as a wrap with a shawl pin.

I knit this version in 2 pieces and joined using Kitchener stitch. This way the pockets are inset nicely to avoid catching on furniture or doorknobs. A 2 stitch I-cord bind off makes for a nice firm finish.
Can be knit all in one piece without pockets, or you can add outside pockets in the Gothic Windows pattern, taking into account, the stitch pattern multiple.

I came across this unique Gothic Windows lace pattern in one of my Stitch Dictionary Reference books and teamed it up with a Lace Chain Panel
