I have been designing socks for quite some time now, and the question I am repeatedly asked is- how do I alter the heel for your patterns because I would like to add additional stitches to the foot… so I decided I would take the time to write out the equations I created to use for determining heel placement and beginning heel turns, no matter the amount of stitches on your needles. I would love that if this is a heel you choose to substitute for any sock you knit, that you would please link this pattern to your project so others might be able to find the pattern as well.
