This pattern is perfect for those who want to start knitting cables, it is very simple, quick, and easy. The hat is knitted in the round from the bottom up.

I will lead you from start to end with easy-to-follow full written instructions and a complete chart, a photo tutorial, links to videos, and also to a chart page where you can easily follow the rounds. If you get lost I will show you one tip to know where you are.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
2 skeins of 100% merino wool, Worsted Yarn Wright (9 wpi, 4:Medium) or Aran (8 wpi, 4:Mediaum)
I USED: 1,25 skein (± 125g, 140m/ 153 yds) Sesia New One, 100% Lana Merino Fine (± 100g, 110m/ 120 yds)
CIRCULAR NEEDLES:
16” (40 cm) / US 7 (4.5 mm) for the brim
16” (40 cm) / US 10 (6 mm) for the body
OTHER MATERIALS:
CABLE NEEDLE
BLUNT TAPESTRY NEEDLE: for removing the jaw
ROW COUNTER FOR CIRCULAR KNITTING (or stitch marker)
TAPE MEASURE
SCISSORS
POMPOM (optional)

GUAGE:
