Olive the Owl
Use a combination of increases and decreases and simple stripes to make this little sleepy owl. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, Olive is knitted in acrylic aran yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).
NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 6)
RECOMMENDED YARN
Stylecraft Special Aran; aran/worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/196m skein in each colour will be more than sufficient.
NOTIONS
Tapestry needle and toy filling.
SIZES
One size only - 14cm tall.
TECHNIQUES
For beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
