Olive You! Girly Twirly Dress
I would rate this as a advanced beginner crocheter. A sewing machine is optional but preferable for doing up the side seems and hems. Straight, simple sewing. The crochet bodice is hand sewn on with a simple stitch. One yard of fabric is plenty for the skirt portion with ample left over for another project!
Sizes given in the pattern for the bodice portion are for 6 months, 12 months and 18 months. The model in the photo is wearing size 6 months.
I love fabric and yarn! Put them together and you have something really special!
I have made many of these as gifts for new mommies! Pick fabric she loves or in the colors she loves! It will be cherished like a family heirloom, never to be tossed in the thrift store bag!
Add beaded or pom pom fringe under the bodice or at the hem to take it over the top!
Color photos included! One on a model and two with the beaded fringe attached!
This pattern is identical to my Girly Twirly Dress (THIRD PICTURE) here!
