I have had many requests from some of my loyal customers for my Oliver jumper in larger sizes as the little people they knit for have grown out of the baby sizes so here it is. My favourite garter stitch knits up into a simple, modern yet timeless sweater. It fastens on the shoulder with buttons for ease of dressing. Use matching buttons or mismatched. The choice is yours!
The back and front are knit separately from the bottom to the shoulders before the shoulders are joined and the sleeve stitches picked up across the shoulder and knit down to the wrist. The side and underarm seams are the only seams that need to be sewn together.
