The earflaps and front flap are knitted flat, then everything is smoothly and effortlessly joined together so you can continue knitting in the round!

About 12.5” (15”, 17.5”, 20”, 22.5”) inches (after blocking)
It is important to actually measure your child’s head and not only rely on the age label. Additionally, you might want to pick a size that is slightly smaller than actual head size (1-1.5” smaller is fine) for a perfect fit.
Materials
• 60 (90, 120, 170, 200) yards of Aran weight yarn or any other yarn that gives gauge
• 16’’ circular needle US # 8 (5 mm) or any size required to obtain gauge
• Double pointed needles US # 8 (5 mm) or same size as circular needle used.
• Other: stitch markers, stitch holders, 2 buttons (about 1’’)
