Oliver is a young octopus who hasn’t yet learnt to swim, so he need his rubber ring and armbands! His best friend is a small sea urchin named Ursula who likes to roll around on the seabed getting covered in sand!

Both patterns are included and although there are a few slightly more advanced techniques they come with full photo instructions so are suitable for beginners as well as those who’ve been crocheting for a while.

Oliver comes to around 30cm (12 inches) across and 20cm (8 inches) tall when made with a 3.25mm crochet hook and DK yarn, although this depends on how he’s waving his legs around!

Ursula is around 7.5cm (3 inches) across and 5cm (2 inches) high when made with a 3.25mm hook and DK yarn.
