Oliver’s Imellem is a lovely sweater worked top down with a circular yoke, stripes and in BETWEEN the stripes there is an easy colorwork.
Note! The length of body, sleeves and ribbings can be adjusted to fit the kid. Sample is shown in size 6 years.

The yardage is divided into three colors:
Color 1 (e.g. blue) for stripes and ribbings: 3 (3, 3) (4, 4, 4) skeins
Color 2 (e.g. grey) light color: 2 (2, 2) (2, 3, 4) skeins
Color 3 (e.g. turquoise) for colorwork: 1 skein
Materials
If using the Magic Loop method an 80cm/32’’ (or longer) circular needle can be used.
5.5 mm/US 9, circular needle (and/or double-pointed needles) for yoke, body and sleeves.
4.5mm/US 7, circular needle (and/or double-pointed needles) for hem, neck, and cuff ribbings.
Stitch marker, waste yarn or stitch holders, tapestry needle. Optionally a hook and button for neck opening.
Gauge
10cm x 10cm/4” x 4”: 16 stitches over 24 rounds with needle 5.5mm/US 9 working stockinette stitch.
Or use the size needed to obtain gauge after wet blocking.
