The pattern includes both a hat without earflaps from size 6 months to adult size M/L and a hat with earflaps from size 0 to 12 months.
The baby hat with earflaps only has bobbles in the front, to avoid discomfort for the child when lying down.

Olive’s Chunky Lace hat is knitted with two strands of yarn.
The lace part is knitted according to charts.
To make a more close-knit and warmer hat for very cold days, the hat has a lining. The lining is knitted with a single strand of yarn.

You can also knit the hat in a summer version without the lining, in for example silk or cotton.
