This pattern is of challenging difficulty. Worked on 3mm needles using 5 (6,7) 50g balls of 4ply yarn.

This is designed to be a traditional, vintage style dress, with a fairly close fitting yoke and body, with an A-line lace skirt, and 3/4 length lace cuff sleeves.

The dress is worked from the bottom up, with a charted leaf lace panel, and a smaller lace panel repeated around the skirt.

Decreases are made and then the lace pattern becomes stocking stitch, with the remaining body and sleeves worked in stocking stitch. Ah optional piping band and bow are added at the high waist.

Sleeves are worked separately then joined with sleeves and body then continued as one piece. I-cord bind off is used to create a piping effect collar. A button and button loop are attached at the back of the neck.

Overall dress length is 55 (62,68)cm but additional length can be worked if preferred.
